Class Description: In this class we will explore the history, present time and future of Breaking. What we’ve learned/winessed to what we are doing now, and what is the potential for things to come? This class explores not only the physical movement, but the philosophy, relationship to other elements of Hip Hop and how that correlates to technology and moving forward. Prepare to dance, draw, make music and more!!

BIO: Anthony Denaro, M.F.A, aka YNOT, explores the design, sustainability, history, and community of Hip Hop. Through a futurist lens, YNOT’s work manifests in dance, design, music, and architecture.YNOT’s reputation in the dance world precedes him. He has mainly participated, researched and competed in the dance form of Breaking for over 25 years. He’s traveled the world extensively judging battles, teaching workshops, and sharing his experience. Dance in his life serves as a catalyst for inspiration, for creating awareness of movement and self-expression, and allowing for investigation within other artistic mediums. In YNOT’s vision of the sustainability of Hip Hop, teaching and mentorship are paramount. He believes education allows us to better understand the world in which we live. Through education, we have become thoughtful about what happens around us. It is the most powerful weapon.
