The first to formally teach Hip-hop at Broadway Dance Studios, thus starting the trend of teaching Hip-hop in dance studios nationally and internationally. He choreographed and danced for well-established artists, including Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, and Will Smith to name just a few. A pioneer in street dance, Emilio is unmatched in the field of dance. Emilio pushes the boundaries of Hip-hop culture and dance. His work and presence in the community, underground, and clubs internationally are unmatched. His banner in the world of dance flies high and strong. This course will be a course on the history of Hip-hop dance and the music that set the landscape for the birth of Hip-hop Culture. It will cover Buddha Stretch's history, his crew of dancers such as Elite Force, MopTop and more. This course is based on the experience and knowledge of its instructor and may cover a broad range of topics and personal narratives politically, economically and socially.

Rennie Harris University Lecture Series – Participation, Media & Registration Policy By registering for any Rennie Harris University (RHU) lecture, class, or event, participants agree to the following terms: Participation & Engagement This lecture series is designed as an interactive learning experience. Participants are expected to arrive prepared to learn, listen, and engage respectfully with instructors and fellow attendees. RHU is committed to maintaining a space rooted in respect, cultural integrity, and shared learning. Disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the session without refund. Media Release & Recording Lectures may be recorded or photographed by Rennie Harris University for educational, archival, and promotional purposes. By participating, attendees grant RHU permission to use their likeness, voice, name, and/or written comments in recordings or media without compensation. Participants who prefer not to appear on camera may keep their cameras turned off. Participant Recording & Intellectual Property Participants may not record, photograph, screen-capture, or redistribute any portion of the lecture without prior written permission from Rennie Harris University. All lecture materials, demonstrations, discussions, and recordings remain the intellectual property of the instructor and RHU and are intended for personal educational use only. No Refund Policy All registrations are final. No refunds or transfers will be issued for missed sessions, scheduling conflicts, failure to attend, or technical issues on the participant’s end. In the event of a cancellation by RHU, participants will be notified and alternative arrangements may be offered at the University’s discretion. Technology & Access Participants are responsible for securing a stable internet connection and appropriate technology to access the lecture platform. RHU is not responsible for technical difficulties experienced by participants. Right to Remove Rennie Harris University reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these policies. Removal does not qualify for a refund.
